Easter 2010
This Easter was really mellow - especially since I have been working and didn't really have any time to do the things I wanted to (what else is new, right?). It was nice that it was conference weekend, which helped bring the true spirit and meaning of Easter into our Easter weekend. We spent Saturday night at Olivia's birthday and then came home and dyed Easter eggs. Easter morning we woke up, found Easter eggs and the kids' easter baskets and ate a pancake & egg breakfast. After the second session of Conference on Sunday we went out to my parent's house for a yummy Easter dinner and the kids got to hunt for more eggs. My mom is so nice to have everyone out to her house - It is my favorite! She also got the kids bouncy balls and sidewalk chalk - she is the BEST Grandma Honey EVER!! I tried to bring some spirituality into our Easter by doing the plastic eggs filled with things that signified an event that happened the last week of Christ's life. I sat all the kids down and let them open an egg and we showed a picture and told the story of what happened. It was a really nice weekend and I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with my family.

I loved the easter egg story of Jesus. I hope it will be a tradition every year.
