Rainbows

Jaedyn's big 3rd birthday was on May 6th and she was SO very excited to have a party! I kept asking her what kind of party she wanted and she'd say "May 6th", I'd ask her how old she was going to be and she'd say "May 6th", so pretty much anything that had to do with her birthday - the answer was always "May 6th". Since Jaedyn didn't have a preference on her birthday theme - I decided to do what I wanted - RAINBOWS! It was a lot of fun finding paper goods, decorations, games and party favors that were all rainbow themed. I also was trying to get back to an "old-fashioned" birthday was games and fun! We had BBQ hamburgers, with rainbow condiments, rainbow ice-cream and I found an idea on the internet for *the cutest* rainbow cake! It was  alot of fun and I think Jaedyn really enjoyed being the center of attention! Happy Birthday to my little Jadybug!

Ashley the amazing party planner!

My nephew Daxton had his 2nd birthday in September, and my sister Ashley did an AMAZING job with his party. It was a Western/Cowboy themed party and she went ALL OUT - from home-made horses to ride, Wanted posters, A saloon and jail, a snake toss, panning for gold, horse races, cowboy vests, and cakeballs (that were supposed to look like cowboys - but unfortunaltey neither of us could figure out how to get them just right). Everyone dressed up in their Western wear and Dustin especially got into character! It was such a fun and cute party - I can't wait to see what she comes up with next :) Here's picture overload!!

"Orange" you glad it's Carson's Birthday?

For Carson's 4th birthday we decided to celebrate with his two favorite things - Orange & Cars! Everyone dressed up in orange, we ate orange food, played orange games, raced race-cars and enjoyed some yummy Lightning McQueen and 'Mater cakes! Carson had a lot of fun with his cousins and got a lot of fun presents! It was so much fun to see everyone get so involved and come dressed up!!

Our little boy, isn't so little anymore! He has FINALLY turned 4! (He has been wondering when his birthday is for the past 6 months!) He is such a sweet boy (when he wants to be), he is so smart and so full of energy! We love him so much and are grateful to have him in our family!

We have a teenager at our house!

Our sweet Kelsi turned 13 this year! I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. She is such a wonderful girl and we are HOPING that she will continue to be a sweet teenager! :)

Kelsi wanted to have a birthday party with all her friends. We had a luncheon and then went over to Ashley's clubhouse to go swimming. As is tradition for Kelsi, her birthday was cold and rainy, but the girls didn't let that stop them. They swam until they couldn't stand the cold anymore, then we went in to the movie theatre and watched Alice in Wonderland - the new one with Johnny Depp. Then on Sunday we had a nice dinner with our family. It was a fun milestone birthday for her!

Birthday Fun

This past Saturday we had a "Strawberry Shortcake" themed birthday party for Jaedyn. We had an amazing face painter come to "Change our Faces".  It was a really nice party and Jaedyn knew it was her special day. I'll let the pictures show you all the fun.....
